*Still Moment is a three-volume collection
of illustrated reflections,
bringing together my original writing,
photography, and art.
Alongside my own work,
the collection features
selected contributions
from other artists and photographers.The photographs come from places
both spectacular and simple.
Some were taken during travels around the world
while others were captured much closer to home.
The art was created in times of joy and struggle.
Some images inspire the words
that accompany them.
At other times, the words come first,
and the search for an image followed.
Occasionally, the two arrive together.The reflections themselves
are observations of life in its many forms.
Beauty, absurdity, resilience, struggle
and the unexpected moments
that make us stop and consider
something we might otherwise have overlooked.Although the words
and most of the images are my own,
the experiences they touch upon
are not unique to me.
They are part of the complicated,
often exhausting and exhilarating
experience of being human.I have intentionally left space
within each piece. S
pace for different interpretations,
different experiences,
and perhaps connections
I never imagined when I created them.The three volumes are connected,
yet each stands on its own.
Together, they offer a collection of moments
rather than a single continuous narrative.
